Remote teaching began to be used at the end of the 18thcentury due to the emergence of regular and reliable mail which was called ‘correspondence education’. Later, in the 1950s, remote education got to anew level with the radio and television. In1969, the Open University was founded in Great Britain which became abasic model in organizing remoteeducation process for other universities around the world. Nowadays, due to the level of technological development and fast Internet connection, remote education is becoming increasingly popular among people. In addition, special attention should be paid to mobile learning. The use of such technical means as mobile phones, smartphones and tablets contributes alot to the development of anew stage in remote education Описание: Ідея дистанційного навчання не нова. Дистанційне навчання почало застосовуватися наприкінці 18 століття завдяки появі регулярної та надійної пошти, яку називали «заочною освітою».
