Зауважується, що Декларація 1959 року визначила основні права та свободи дітей, у свою чергу Конвенція 1989 року встановила перелік прав, обов’язків та гарантій для дітей, що зробило її унікальним інструментом в глобальному контексті. Зазначається, що Декларація прав дитини 1959 року відіграла значну роль у визначенні основних прав дитини. Хоча такі документи не несуть прямих зобов’язань для держав щодо їх дотримання, Декларація стала фундаментом для подальшої діяльності на міжнародному рівні в питанні захисту прав дитини. Конвенція про права дитини визначає стандарти та принципи, які є основою для визнання та захисту прав дітей у всьому світі, встановлюючи міжнародний стандарт у цьому питанні. Акцентується увага на тому, що реалізація прав дитини вимагає систематичного та комплексного підходу, який включає в себе не лише прийняття відповідних нормативно-правових актів, але й створення ефективних механізмів контролю та моніторингу для забезпечення їхнього виконання на практиці. Загальний внесок Декларації та Конвенції у сферу захисту прав дітей визначається регуляцією важливих суспільних відносин. Вони не тільки надають правовий фундамент для захисту дітей, а і є своєрідним орієнтиром для подальших зусиль держав у створенні сприятливого середовища для всебічного розвитку кожної дитини. Також наголошено на важливості та актуальності забезпечення прав дітей в умовах збройних конфліктів, адже діти, які опинилися в зоні збройних конфліктів, часто стають найбільш вразливими категоріями населення. It is noted that the Declaration of the Rights of the Child of 1959 played a significant role in defining the basic rights of the child, although such documents do not carry direct obligations for states to observe them, the Declaration became the foundation for further activities at the international level in the protection of children’s rights. The Convention on the Rights of the Child defines the standards and principles that are the basis for the recognition and protection of children’s rights around the world, setting the international standard in this matter. Attention is focused on the fact that the implementation of children’s rights requires a systematic and comprehensive approach, which includes not only the adoption of relevant legal acts, but also the creation of effective control and monitoring mechanisms to ensure their implementation in practice. The general contribution of the Declaration and the Convention to the protection of children’s rights is to regulate important social relations.
