dc.description	The article explores the issues of functioning on the territory of Ukraine, which was part of the Russian Empire in the last quarter of XVIII - the first half of the nineteenth centuries, the system of civil procedural legislation. This is a periodization of the history of the development of civil procedural legislation, in the chronological framework established in the study there were significant changes in the validity of the relevant legal сources. The article states that, despite the incorporation of the Left-Bank Ukraine and the accession of the Righ- Bank, regional peculiarities (eg procedural rules contained in the Lithuanian Statute and other acts in Poland or the Cossack State) remained in force in the judicial system and the judiciary, at the same time, in other provinces (Slobid-Ukrainian, since 1835 Kharkiv, Kherson, Katerynoslav and Tavriysky) the judiciary and justice since the spread of the Russian administrative-territorial system conformed to the rules of Russian imperial law. It was outlined that gradually, during the first half of the nineteenth century, the Russian authorities implemented a number of measures that abolished local legal acts in RightBank and Left-Bank Ukraine, and Russian legislation was extended here. The article also mentions the Russian legal acts of the empire, which governed in the first half of the nineteenth century, the civil process (Sobornoye Ulozheniye 1649, in the Third part of the Military Statute of 1716, the decree «On the Forms of Court» 1723). Attention is drawn to the fact that in the 1830-s, the civil process was governed by the Code of Laws of the Russian Empire, which had a number of significant deficiencies and was generally unable to correct a number of material deficiencies and negative features that manifested itself in civil proceedings.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	Досліджено питання функціонування на території України, що знаходилась у складі Російської імперії в останній чверті XVIII – першій половині ХІХ ст., системи цивільного процесуального законодавства. Йдеться про періодизацію історії розвитку цивільного процесуального законодавства: у встановлених у дослідженні хронологічних рамках відбулись суттєві зміни щодо чинності відповідних правових джерел. У статті зазначено, що незважаючи на інкорпорацію Лівобережної України та приєднання Правобережної, тут діяли в системі судоустрою та судочинства регіональні особливості (наприклад, чинними залишались процесуальні норми, що містились в Литовському статуті та інших актах, що діяли в Польщі чи козацькій державі). Водночас в інших губерніях (Слобідсько-українській, а з 1835 р. Харківській, Херсонській, Катеринославській і Таврійській) судоустрій та судочинство з моменту поширення російського адміністративнотериторіального устрою відповідало нормам російського імперського законодавства.	uk_UA
