dc.description	In the article the basic information and technological advances that can be used by the pre-trial investigation in the detection and investigation of crimes. Specifies the lack of use of information technology tools in pre-trial investigation, which affects the efficiency of such activity. Analysis of recent publications and practice has shown that most of the civilized world has long recognized the importance and inevitability of information and technology in law enforcement, focusing on analytical component. The possibilities of modern information and analytical systems in the public information space uses completely. And involvement in processing the information space of the Internet can significantly expand the potential of automated systems with greater ability detect and basic - forecasting criminal activities. Moreover, new technologies make it possible to actively and productively to counter transnational crime due to lack of borders in the global network. Much easier interaction and communication between law enforcement agencies of different countries. Указано на недостатність використання інформаційно-технічних засобів у досудовому розслідуванні, що негативно впливає на ефективність такої діяльності. Особливо недолік інформаційно-технічного забезпечення помітний при недостатньому забезпеченні досвідченими фахівцями, що є результатом невдалої кадрової політики, здійснюваної керівництвом МВС України.	uk_UA
