Використання штучного інтелекту в діяльності судових експертів: загроза чи перспектива?

Abstract

У статті розглядається питання використання штучного інтелекту в діяльності судових експертів. Проаналізовано методи та інструменти використання штучного інтелекту під час проведення експертиз. Розглянуто переваги застосування інтелектуальних систем для опрацювання даних, пришвидшення аналізу матеріалів справ і підвищення об’єктивності висновків. Виокремлено основні виклики, які виникають від впровадження штучного інтелекту в судово-експертну діяльність, поміж яких правові обмеження, етичні аспекти й технічні труднощі. Наголошено, що для збереження конкурентоспроможності судові експерти мають постійно підвищувати свою кваліфікацію і співпрацювати зі спеціалістами у сфері штучного інтелекту. Зроблено висновок, що попри значний потенціал штучного інтелекту, людський чинник залишається незамінним під час проведення судових експертиз. The article considers the issue of using artificial intelligence in the activities of forensic experts. After all, today artificial intelligence plays a decisive role in global technological development, becoming a driving force of innovations and scientific breakthroughs. Its rapid development forces us to reassess the impact of this technology on various industries, including economics, medicine, justice, and the transport sector. The methods and tools for using artificial intelligence during examinations are analyzed. Some of them are: image and video processing, voice analysis, data visualization systems, text document analysis, machine learning and classification, virtual reconstructions, data forecasting and analysis, expert systems, and analysis of large volumes of data. The advantages of using intelligent systems for data processing, accelerating the analysis of case materials, and increasing the objectivity of conclusions are considered. The main challenges facing the implementation of artificial intelligence in forensic activities are identified, including legal restrictions, ethical aspects, and technical difficulties. It is emphasized that in order to remain competitive, forensic experts must constantly improve their qualifications and cooperate with specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. An important aspect of this process is the mastery of new technologies, adaptation to rapid changes in the industry and the implementation of innovative methods of analysis, which will allow experts to remain in demand and effectively apply modern approaches in practical activities. It is concluded that despite the significant potential of artificial intelligence, the human factor remains indispensable during forensic examinations.
